What to do
If you think you or a loved one might have Alzheimer disease, then a visit to the family doctor is essential. If necessary, the doctor will give a referral to a specialist, such as a psychiatrist, neurologist or memory specialist, for an evaluation.
If you do not have a family doctor, contact your local CLSC or clinic will direct you to an appropriate resource.
