Event description:

Since 1996, the Mental Illness Foundation has been organizing a Prestige Wine Tasting Event. With the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) as a sponsor for the past few years, this event is always much anticipated and brings together, year in, year out, more than 300 loyal and passionate wine lovers mainly from the business and communications sectors.

In past, the event has been held at the Saint-James Club and at Marché Bonsecours, and in 2007, it took place at the Montréal Science Centre.

Seated at tables for up to 10 people, attendees sample eight extremely rare high-quality wines accompanied by gourmet dishes. Each of these fine wines is described and commented by a renowned sommelier.

During the evening, guests can win one of the wines tasted. The event is topped off with a silent auction and an English auction in which some of the wines tasted are available. It’s a rare occasion for connoisseurs to get their hands on a highly prized bottle.
